Discover and assess digital opportunities.
The key deliverable of the first phase is a defined challenge. By challenge, we refer to a properly assessed and clearly defined problem or opportunity that can be approached in subsequent project phases.
Having a clearly defined challenge might sound trivial but in reality many digital projects do not have aligned objectives. Rather, they follow a more or less precisely defined direction. As a typical result, focus is lost and project duration and cost increase.
We do not progress without having an aligned challenge in place. If necessary, we help to define one. Results of our work in this phase are usually audits or analyses of specific business functions, industries, or markets.
Translate raw ideas into validated solutions.
The key deliverable of the second phase is a defined solution. By solution, we refer to a broadly validated approach to project execution that can be operationally implemented in the subsequent project phase.
This project phase is crucial to de-risk digital initiatives. It helps to prove early that previously defined objectives are actually feasible and commercially viable. Projects that are implemented without previously running through such a phase inherit an unnecessarily high risk of failure.
We do not implement projects without having a validated execution plan in place. If necessary, we help to develop one. Results of our work in this phase are usually prototypes or concepts of a specific digital product or service.
Implement projects that exceed expectations.
The key deliverable of the third and final phase is a finished solution. By that, we refer to a fully implemented and successfully launched digital initiative that can be extended subsequently.
At this point, digital projects seem pretty straightforward. Indeed they are – at least if the previous phases were carefully conducted. However, the actual implementation is usually the most complex, most demanding, and most resource-consuming phase of a project.
We ultimately aim for implementing digital solutions that solve real problems and make use of real opportunities. Results of our work in this phase are usually full-fledged digital products or services that are run and used by enabled organizations.
